The Stereo Nova is a band of the 90s. Did electronic music, especially rhythm trip-hop, Techno and Ambient, with Greek lyrics. It is considered a pioneering band that influenced the Greek electronic and pop music.
The history of CHD begins in 1986 when located along the Kbhta, Mikael Delta , and Pi Anthony concerns with several music and making musical experimentation. Influenced by the sound of acid write some songs and forming an instrumental (instrumental, no lyrics) group by the name Bobby Blast. During 1990 Konstantinos Vita wrote some lyrics and the band decided to integrate them into pieces. The name changed to Stereo Nova , and by 1991 completed the pieces of their first (eponymous) album, which eventually released in 1992 on Wipe Out Records....
Here are several releases of albums and singles until the release of Tesla in 1996, when Anthony Pi leaves the group. The CHD will remain for about another year and when the end of 1997 will be scrapped. The members of Stereo Nova still separate path in music today. In November 2008, after months of affairs, revealed the site of Lifo that CHD will reunite for one night only on December 5, to live for three years of Lifo.
The first album contained mostly CHD late pieces that can be described as techno ambient. During the course of hardened their sound moving in the wider field of techno. Typical is the verse and the band. Konstantinos Vita rapping prose poems written by himself, making a total in the Greek music scene a new kind of pioneering that will influence and even pop music. The CHD despite their success avoided the no-limit commercialization of their work-enhancing anyway, great music value.
